I got the lights wired on my CJ3B tonight.
 I have ordered bearings and seals. Should be here next week. I will get them replaced over Labor day weekend before I tow her 1600 miles to Jefferson City and Back! Sorry no room for anymore towable items! Can't believe

Jamie,
Based on your hitch casting, front frame rail caps, angled tongue supports, and "C" style rear shackles your trailer is between 10000 and 16271 making it either a 46 or 47 but we have no proof on years of production so this is mearly a speculation.

I finished my side rails this weekend. I made them out of a Texas Mesquite! Soon as I figure out how I am going to make or purchase the hardware for the bows, I will start working on bending them. Have a extra set of hardware laying around, drop me a note! J   |

I was out of town for a couple days and the Postman brought me a top while I was gone! Overall I am pleased except it is a too long. It is my fault not Black Dog Design. They followed the pattern. I will have to pick up some rope tomorrow to see if I can get it taught. If not I may need to send it back to take a 1" off. If you are going to use my pattern, I recommend that if you   |

It should not shrink. The top is made out of a product called Sumbrella Plus. They use it to make awnings and boat covers. The spacer idea should work fine.

Art, when did the cover for the old MBT floor drain disappear? I don't see that on the the data list. Is that a clue that can help? Daniel |

Should be when the ACM tubs were used up so need make sure no 3 tie down tubs have them;) So yes another clue.

Interesting, so my trailer with three tie downs on the side and the
floor drain cover in the floor may be right at that transition period.

I ended up putting 1" spacers in the side rail pockets and it raised my cover up enough to work. I towed the trailer 150 miles today at 70 miles an hour. Top preformed extremely well. I am very pleased . If you use my pattern have them shorten it 11/2". The overlap is too long.
