We also used our 48 for plowing snow. We had the original  ndt's with chains only on the rear and it worked well.

Hello Everyone... Not much new to report on the rusty ole blue 48 LOL

However, progress has been made on several other projects. Dad got his leaf springs re-strapped and arched and added another leaf to the front of the plow Jeep. We also put new shocks all around... We took off a huge push bumper and threw on my spare 2A one.. The last Sunday of every month the spring shop holds a local car show with BBQ and music. The boys and I had a good time, it was good to see people out and about.

I got my wife's grandfathers VW Bug running after 10 years... Confirmed it's a 1971. Backed it out of the garage for some sun light... It went surprisingly well except for a leaking fuel pump and a rock-hard break pedal. I enjoyed working on the little car except for all the Metric stuff Angry . And what's up with the fuel line?? 5 mm?? The 1/4" I had will have to do for now! I look forward to scooting around town shortly.

We had a yellow 72 BW that looked very much like that one to include the dents in the left rear fender. My daily driver for a few years. That vent window didn't keep me very cool in San Antonio in the summer.

After almost a month of oppressive humidity, never ending rain and smoke from out west.... We FINALLY have a nice day with low dew points and a breeze in the air!! Even the Tiger Lillys started to bloom... It's a good day!

It took some time, but we found a nice set of 16" M38A1 rims locally for my Dads plow jeep... He wrapped them in new 7.50-16 Deestone tires and installed new shackles which added a little bit of lift.. Slowly starting to get ready for winter already. Cry
