I purchased this at the end of last year.  As you can see it is in pretty good condition & has the original wood. My intention is to restore it back to original except I will be pulling it behind my GPW. Therefore it will get NDT tires & will be painted OD. I will post my progress as time permits.  Comments good or bad are welcome.  Mike

Looking good! How are you going to hitch it? Ball hitch on GPW or lunette on trailer.

My intent is to restore this as close to original as possible with the exception of painting it OD & NDT's. I don't want to modify past that. That way I can sell it to someone with a CJ & they will only have to paint it. Saying that, I also didn't want to change the pintle hitch on my GPW to the ball type. What I came up with allows me to pull the trailer behind my GPW or if need be with the original ball hitch. Here's what I'm using. Mike

Nice lunette modification!

Did you use a ball hitch inside the coupler?

No the way the pintle coupler is made it keeps everything in place the fulton just sits on top it doesn't move at all once its bolted. see the picture below maybe that will help explain it better
