There is a thread on the JK forum I also frequent that is a scavenger hunt of sorts.  An item is suggested (lighthouse, another Jeep, a barn, parade, etc) and the object is to post a picture of your Jeep with said item.  First one with a valid picture picks the next "hunt".  Anybody interested?  It's fun, gets you out and about and lets us see pictures of the Jeeps.  If there is already a thread like this, I apologize.  Let me know and I'll refer to that one.  Otherwise, I'll start.

Since it's spring and spring sports are starting up, let's see your Willys at a ball field.  Baseball, softball, soccer, whatever sport you choose.  Go!

Well, I was going to go out this morning, jump in the 3B, and run up to the gravel pit just up the road, but 6" of wet snow on the seats and more coming just made me think that it really just wasn't that important.  Unhappy      Smile BW

I agree with Freedom21, and Ben,  close enough.

Some crazies put their flatties IN a swamp  . . . My poor '2A was saw a lot of "swamp" in its early days,  but I grew tired of washing it, and replacing all the fluids/grease in drivetrain.  LOL

Last weekend at Redbird state park. Hard to believe it's the same Jeep as the one above!

If this counts, how about a Jeep in a barn?

Normally the pic would include evidence of the park, like the sign at the entrance. But this one has sat for a few days so I think we should keep it moving. So, the Jeep in the barn appears to be the current hunt.

Hey thank you - it has really grown on me too. At first I wasn't too sure that I liked it, but it was installed set back a bit for added leg room and it really is quite comfortable. I spoke with an upholstery shop last week about getting it re-covered, not sure which direction I am going on paint with this thing yet - so, just enjoying it as it is for a while.

There are some additional pictures in my intro post from a few months back:

Don't know if these really qualify as art, but since no one else has jumped in I drove into town today and took a few pics. Pics aren't too good. I just have my phone and most of these are on busy corners or in red zones. Had to jump out, take the picture and hurry on. Our town (Ogden, Utah) has probably around 50 of these horses around town painted up all kinds of crazy ways.

Here's a few with Grampa's Jeep.

Little wider shot of the mural with a bonus Honda thrown in.

I think we missed an opportunity with this one. A Jeep parked next to a work of art?

Isn't that just 2 jeeps parked together?

Hey Stan - I had a hard time seeing your jeep parked in front of that mural. Did they use your leftover paint?

The way the horse is positioned it looks like an elephant scared by a mouse.
Did it leave hoof prints on your hood?

Yes, please paintshop out the little red turd on the left.
I like the donut ad though.

I ran into town just before I had Another appointment and really only thought of the mural at the last second when I was heading home. I'll keep an eye on it and see if there is ever an open opportunity. That's a parking lot right down town so having no other cars there is pretty rare.

In the mean time, does anyone have some yard gnomes in their
neighborhood? I ask my wife what would be a fun picture and that it's what she suggested,

Your jeep with a yard gnome.

I don't have a yard gnome but I have to comment about that huge wall mural.  Is that a pic of the first horse skateboard? Or skate?

IMHO, the horse can see the Little Jeep as its replacement, and is "Stomping it Out"

If only the red car was under the hooves, we might be rid of another "road lice" car. The only thing I like about rodeos is when they run the shuttle service from Denver to Cheyenne for the rodeo using the old steam locomotive, UP 3985. That could be a hint to the next person.

Since you all loved the red Honda so much, I sent the horse mural picture to my pro photographer brother-in-law and he touched it up for me. He did three versions.

Ok, now can he back up the jeep and make it stand up on the rear wheels like the horse?

That would be amazing, Joe.

I think because of the really nice shots and the fact that nobody else posted yet Stan picks the next topic?

I'm still holding out for your jeep and a yard gnome. If nobody comes through over the weekend I'll pick a different topic.

I think it might be time for a new topic, even though a gnome would've been interesting. It's been 5 days.

Dang, I've got a Jeep and we've got a Gnome but they aren't in the same location and the Jeep doesn't currently have a motor in it...  Cry

You can maybe switch it up and put "your gnome next to a jeep"

I'll try to get this done, but if the current winner wants to change the hunt, that's cool too.  Not sure how soon I'll get over there.

Here's a couple of my dad.  First is when he and all his buddies bought surplus jeeps in 1948.  The next after he bagged his first of two blacktails in 1959.

Sorry guys. I've been out of digital touch at the northern Colorado Mountain Run ( pics and videos coming soon on that thread). If you get the gnome thing done great, but maybe someone else could try to beat you to it with this one: Your jeep with another vintage vehicle that is not a jeep and that you do not own. Also make it a new photo, not something from your archives.

Okay, here's my jeep with my good friends' 1966 Chevelle Super Sport convertible.  They go cruising every week with the old car guys and are headed to Deadwood SD next week for the old car rally.  While I do have vague recollections of 1966, it is 50 years ago, and their car looks showroom new.

We're out in the country, so how about a jeep in the big city.
