                        GROUP 31 - 11 -- WINDSHIELD ASSEMBLY

STUD, single type (windshield top fastner)...............PART No. 663269

I have two from 2a's and one from a '60's Military to compare.  The first one came on a VERY early windshield I got. It looks like the twist part is made out of "bakelite" or similar.
The second (black one) came off #34692 This one is just formed sheet metal

if you're not particular about the color...these latter are nickle-on-brass, I believe.

Hi,
when the body shop guy repaired my windshield he ¨¨forgot to replace the windshield studs¨¨.
I need to put them back, but I need exactly the place.
Someone could take a photo and add the dimensions from the edge or from the bottom
in order to put them back in the correct place?
Many, many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Charlie

Dear Ralf,
thanks for your reply.
Nevertheless, what I was looking was the exact place for the studs which attach the doors, not the windshield top studs.
Sorry if my question was not clear enough.
Cheers,
Charlie

If you are referring to these .......

..... they are 23-1/4" down from the top of the windshield.
