I had 37 complete assemblies so my 45 2A would have the right pto assembly. Then I found my last 452A and it already had the original pto.
I do know that even the agrijeep pto has a GPA marked shift handle on the front pto like mine does.

Other than buying gaskets (somewhere) or making your own, has anyone ever had issues using Permatex on the mating surfaces?
Parts are soaking while bearings, races and gaskets are on order. Thanks for the info shofer. Edited by cjbilly - 20 Feb. 2017 at 2:49pm |

I always use a gasket and permatex on both sides. I've tried just using permatex alone and end up having leaks later on. JMHO

The seal is not doubled up at the shafts. It is National seal #10165. It has a felt side and a neoprene side and is about a half inch thick, the thickness of the seal retainer.
