I wish I'd realized you were in Shrewsbury when I was up there last year, I would have looked you up. I was staying in Hopkinton and doing nothing as fun as that LOL.

Nothing better than putting the jeep through a little mud.
How is your cooler-bracket attached to your jeep?

What? The cooler bracket? It's all homemade....spare tire rack/cooler carrier. I'm at work so don't have access to any of my pictures.
Short answer is, I built a small size receiver for it in the spot where the pintle hook would bolt to the crossmember. Then built the carrier itself with the 'male' part of the receiver. There is also a vertical brace that bolts up through the angle iron of the drawbar. (that's behind the tire)
So, it's free standing and isn't mounted to any sheetmetal. And is actually mounted with just two bolts, so it comes off pretty quick.
Skip, there is also a toolbox tray that I found in the basement that somehow didn't go with it. It bolts on in place of the spare for carrying a 24" toolbox. (I never carried the spare except on the Rubicon trips. The Jamboree requires them.) I guess I figured Tom would always keep the rack on it or either I just forgot about it being in the basement, I dunno.
EDIT:
Ah ha!! Here's the old post that shows it......pictures and all.
(it's where I ask if anybody's seen this jeep)
Skip, you can barely see the toolbox in the second picture of this thread.
(this is the thread where Skip introduces himself and tells everybody "he knows where the jeep is")..........I still get a kick out of reading this!!
