135301 has a new home. Wife and I took it down to top off the gas. Runs good, just got to get it licensed and insured.

Nice!
Ever get up to the ice rink in Frederick? My granddaughter has performed in a couple of shows there. I've stopped at the Roy Roger's a couple of times when I've been up there. Wish we still had an RR around here. Larry |

No, never been. I'm new to the area, a temporary transplant up from N. Carolina. |

Sorry, I'm not too good at posting pics. I'll get more up soon. I want to get the top on it first. These working hours are cutting into Jeep time.

I hope this link works. I posted pics with the top too. I dont think the bottom door hinges are correct, the doors don't line up right. Anyone know? Thanks in advance. http://s388.photobucket.com/albums/oo323/Hamhog4/New%20Jeep%20pics/
Oh, and the original fuel pump came with it in a box. It was a metal bowl fuel pump. I know there has been an ongoing thread somewhere here about this topic. It had the original carb in the box also, it was a 636s.

The link works great, and what a fantastic Jeep you have! Really nice shape! I didn't have time to really look at the pics thoroughly, but is that the original paint still? The top looks great also. It is rare to find one like yours.
I can't help with the door hinges, but there are a few guys on the site who are experts on the old jeep tops and hardware. I'm sure one of them can help you out.

Dave,
I think you're right about the lower hinges, the later ones were below the line of the door opening. (and they don't gouge you in the calf getting in and out, well, not as bad anyway) |

That is a great jeep! It has to be one of a hand full still in original condition, especially with the original top. Nice find! Good Luck with it!

WOW
THAT, is the nicest untouched original CJ2A that I have ever seen, and I have seen a few nice Jeeps. You can't show us pics like that and not give us the whole story..
The original pencil point spare still has nubbies!!!!
You gotta do us one favor, post a pic of the front license plate bracket...
