I did the 4 wheel disc conversion on my 2a sourcing the brackets from Metcalf and you're going to love how well it works.

UPDATE time.  The past month has mostly consisted of cleaning, stripping, and painting parts for assembly.  The weather hasn't been great, mostly rain in my part of Oregon, but the sun has been out the past few days so I've been in the driveway finishing body work!  Interior is all that was left - stripping old paint, I had to patch one spot of rust on the wheelhouse, then paint.

So I started with the dash.  Getting to the surface rust up inside the dash was a real pain...

Then moved on to the floor

After everything dried I test fit the gauges I got for Christmas.

Here is how it sits now - looks like a complete Jeep!

Looks a lot like my old MB. I also ran the Fireball v6, a very under appreciated motor.

Entirely my point! LOL

(sometimes when I make small increments over time it really does me good to take a step back and see the combined leap forward, but boy a coat of paint really pops Thumbs Up )

Thanks for all the compliments.  I'm getting really excited about it now.  So much still to do...

I finally got the R&P master cylinder bracket installed.  Rich sells a kit that comes with the bracket he designed, Wilwood dual remote reservoir master cylinder, adjustable pushrod, and hardware.

My 2a had the pedal pivot bracket that is welded to the frame, which interferes with the new MC bracket.  So that had to go and I replaced it with the later riveted version that mounts on the underside of the frame.  Then drill four holes in the frame and bolt up the bracket.

I've got the pedals installed and the only issue is some rubbing of the pedal arm on the tub where it passes through the floor.  I'm guessing the clearance issue is caused by the poly body mounts I used...

*Edit* Not sure why my photos aren't showing up in the post.

That looks really nice. Where did you get the R&P kit? I thought they were no longer available.

I got the kit from R&P.  Rich is still running the business and still making these kits.  Just give him a call, 503-504-7011.

Who can tell me what this bracket holds? It was mounted to the tool box just in front of the passenger seat.

An old school fire extinguisher.

Not this exact version, but something similar...

So the 198 is getting shelved and I am starting a rebuild on a 225 I was given.  It's at the machine shop.  The plan is .040. over in the cylinders and the crank bore needs work.  This is my first engine rebuild so any tips are welcomed...
