I am replacing my front wheels due to lug holes worn out. The front wheel bore size ( figment over the locking hubs) is larger than the rear wheels. Can anyone give me more information about the different bore sizes and where I might find new wheels.

All four wheels should be the same. If your rear wheels don't fit over the front hub - they are not stock or even aftermarket CJ wheels.

Fords shared the same lug pattern - but had a smaller center bore. So you may have Ford wheels on the rear. There were lots of old rigs that had the 5x5.5 pattern. So that is a complete guess.

Center bore on a CJ wheel should be 4.25 if memory serves me well.

What type of wheels are you looking for? There are a ton of options out there.

Not sure on the wheels. Just got the 46 couple months ago. I have rebiult suspension and complete brkae system replacement. Definitely the old man i bought i from did a little shade tree work here and there. The holes on rear are smaller than front. If all wheels should be same then my front are original and rear are not. Solution replace all to original type.

Thanks for the help

I had to replace all five. This was the best price I found:

One more vote for both the rims and tires from Summit.  I put four of them on mine and they look great.  Don't forget tubes for them at the same time.
