A member of this forum (can't remember who) said a PTO system is not complete without a governor.... That always stuck with me, I would expect to see one for over 27K!

It surprises me as well just how many Jeeps were sold with PTOs but without governors.  I guess many folks thought the hand throttle was good enough.

Yesterday I ran across a Craigslist ad for a CJ with a Newgren and a PTO yesterday that was 23.5k:

No governor, lift arms for the Newgren are missing, crankshaft driven hydraulic pump appears to be missing, no tailgate, no drain holes in tub, no air filter or crossover tube, aftermarket horn, non-stamped hood, no hood blocks, non-stock wheels, exhaust is falling out of it, etc, etc.  Well cared for in good condition but not commensurate with that asking price.  He will be lucky to sell for half of that.

Yeah, that seems like so much $$$! But as mbullism was saying, prices have been on the up and up.. Are we now going from 10K jeeps to 20k jeeps? That's just nuts!! LOLLOL

But it's "restored"!!  With a fiberglass tub and white spoke wheels?  Here we go again with a flexible definition of "restored"...
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable
