Before I order some more parts for the rebuild, what else should I pick up for the transfer case? All my gears are good and not pitted or missing teeth and the shafts are in good shape too.
I'm getting new bearings and seals, but are there any small parts I need that's slipping my mind?

Have plenty of shims for the rear cap fitting.  Get speedy sleeves for the output yokes or new yokes.

Probably not what some of you were expecting. But I definitely need to organize my garage better now lol. It's been busy in babyland so that's why my updates have been slow on this and my tranny/TC rebuild

😆, I hadn't given it much thought. However it is pretty much a family heirloom at this point, and I'm the 3rd generation owner, Previous being my great grandfather and his father in law before. He just got to a point where he could hardly even enjoy it anymore so he passed it to me

Got my TC pan reinstalled and I'll be taking Bruce's advice and driving it as is, at least I can still enjoy the road gear while I get my other rebuilt. Still waiting on the case to come back. Wait for the permatex to set and I'll fill it back up and drive it!
All the parts out of the spare TC cleaned up really nicely and with just the small parts and bearings, this rebuild shouldn't be terrible on the checkbook. The T90 is another manner, except for the cluster gear and shaft, as well as the main shaft, pretty much all those gears need replaced. More pitting and wear than I'd like, which us close to none
In the mean time I've been playing with the Rochester quadrajet my truck has, trying to do a little bit of a tune up, something seems a tad off...

Well my starter ate dirt today, I've been meaning to get to it and clean it up for a while but it chose today. The gear is really well worn and that bearing at the end is fully seized up. The spring also is nowhere to be found. At least it gives me an opportunity to take it off, clean it and repair it.
In the mean time, I hand started it, it's really easy to do on this jeep fortunately!

I've got a good working MZ-4113 for sale if you're interested in a spare, $100 plus postage.

I switched over to the later bell-housing on my M38 that uses a closed nose starter.

Good luck!

I might just take you up on that. The parts that I've found I need will run me up some dough, I figured if I rebuild it, might as well do it in 12v.

Seems like I found the source of the current problem, not that others were far behind, not sure if you can tell but those two peices are pretty much inseparable

Here are the parts for the tranny and TC rebuild, only thing I haven't ordered are some of the gears I might need, I haven't cleaned them all up yet, so I'm not sure what I do and don't need

Not exactly sure what parts you're talking about, but that thingy on the shaft about an inch or two from the end isn't a bearing.
It's called a "pinion stop". To my knowledge it's supposed to be in a fixed position on the shaft (spins with the shaft not independently).
It's part of the Bendix drive --- not sure it's removable.
The "bearing" for the end of the shaft is a bushing in the bell-housing.

Do you have a copy of the Army TM9-1825B?

Yea I found after I posted its not a bearing, another starter I have( not sure if it works yet) has that stop but it moves, might be a slight manufacturing change. And no I don't, just the universal manuel
