Do these look like 1949 CJ2a parking lights. They were in the Jeep 40 years ago, but they don't seem like the right lights because they are not flush.

These lights are not like the original lights, which have conical lenses and a different bezel.

They are not '49 2A parking lights.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

Thank you for your response.  Can you suggest where I can purchase two correct complete parking lights?

The lights you have were made by Yankee Metal Products which produced aftermarket lighting products and replacement lenses. Replacement lights are available for your Jeep  from Walcks, Kaiser Willys and other online vendors and are not hard to find.

They were probably broken and the guy went to the local parts store and bought replacements for less than he would have to pay to the Willys dealer. Yankee was in business from 1916 into the 80's and sold a wide range of lights, mirrors, etc. for cars and trucks retail to the trade as well as to oem of trucks, buses, fire trucks, police cars and ambulances. The lights you have are worth as much as $15-20 today.
