   The mercruiser oil pan is a front sump and won't clear the front axle at full travel. I couldn't find a 153 pan to use or iron duke pan to modify so I cut up the mercruiser pan and made my own.

  The pan clears the giant marine starter and the driveshaft (need a longer one). The driveshaft also has lots of room around the starter, bellhousing and pan.
