Thought I'd take a long shot and ask. Looking to buy one 43/8 axle ratio tag in good condition. I know, rare. I've been looking for 4 years. Much appreciated if you have one to part with. Thanks!

I have one in reasonably good shape. As far as I know its been on Ol' Red since 1946. I'm the second owner and I've had no reason to be in the axles so far.
It's yours. Send me a PM with your addy. |

Are you looking for the front, or the rear diff tag? Each are a different length....

Did not know that, Low...The one I have is the rear tag (model 41). The front tag is missing so I would assume the first owner has been in there and didn't put it back. It is certainly possible; the first owner was a oilfield service company and so Ol' Red had close to 50,000 miles of careful oilfield driving before it was parked in a shed for 6 years. LOL...

Sending PM, and thanks! I wasn't aware of two size tags either..... It's for the Dana (Spicer) 44 on the rear of my M38 ---- so it should fit.
