Purchased this '46 cj2a just over a month ago after coming across it in a farm storage building when out on a job. He was going to restore it himself but had too many other projects going. The cab on it was from Sears & Roebuck, which I removed right away. I'm already starting to strip it down to the frame for restoration.  This will keep me busy over the long winter. And I will need to replace the rusted out, dented tub body.

Nice looking Jeep.  Clever use of metal panels in your shop.  Very practical.  Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Hey Mike

Welcome to the page...

Love the Sears top...dont throw it out yet....they are loud but they enable you to drive it when the weather is not too sunny...

I won't throw the cab. Just set it out behind the shed for now.
