Bought this from Nate a few days ago. A lot of people knew this Jeep as Jalopy. Going to get after it here and there. Have a six project to finish up first, well and a M416 project as well. As I dig deeper, I will log the action here. Probably not going to be as built as my last 46 project I had to sell a few years back, but hoping for close to it. Right now, it obviously needs axles under it, but does come with Dauntless, T90 with Dualmatic overdrive, PS PB.

Its up on legs for now. Flanged , offset 44 rear. Wide track 30 (for now) up front. Just to get it off the trailer.

Sure looks like the one I just picked up, right down to the half cab. Mine does not have any axles, engine, trans or steering wheel.

Recently picked up a Ford T18 and an empty Jeep T18 case with main shaft and T98 adapter. Main shaft has the rear seal bushing as well. Have them both cleaned up and inspecting parts, but the Dauntless was paired to a T18, prior to me getting it. Still waiting for the master kit to come in from Novaks for the big hole Dana 18.

Progress has been made in tranny and TC area. Camera is busted right now, because I went metal detecting in a local stream, and yes... forgot to take it out of my pocket. Will now be going with a T-18 and Dana 20 TC out of a 1979 CJ-7. Dana 20 has Terra low in it as well. I have a centered 44 out of a Commando for the rear with 427 gears. Just have to re-gear the NT 30 up front . I think 427 gears with a Dauntless is a good combo. Whatcha thinking. 85 to 1 crawl ain't horrible. Tire size is yet to be determined. But somewhere between 33-35 inch.
This project has slowed down because I recently picked up a 53 CJ3b and had to get it driving . Had a real bad rod rap, so rebuilt the motor. Did a bunch of other stuff to it as well, but that was the biggy. I will start a post on that one at some point.

Been working on the early five frame to go under this and collecting other related parts. It's been a while sense I posted any updates, but between collecting more build parts for this and doing a motor rebuild on the 3b last summer and now the 70 cj5 getting attention, this has been put on hold. But I'm now collecting driveline parts and engine components. It's not dead, just a little cool.

Yes, I picked up a 70 cj5 last summer down in Virginia. It's rust free with a great running oddfire. Just dropped new springs under it and waiting for new fender marker and front directionals to come in. Also ordered a few other things to come in. It will be this coming summers ride. Last year it was the 3B.

Well picked up my Arizona cj6 tub from the blasters yesterday and dropped of the Jalopy tub. Will be back in a week or so. Have my new Dauntless sitting on the stand waiting to go and tranny and T case are awaiting paint jobs. Axles are not nearly ready. Those are next in the build sheet list. Pics of tub when I get it back.

I've got that frame on my docket for this weekend, to strip off the remaining small bolt ons. Let's see if I actually get to it or if life gets in the way again
