The oil filter housing was moved to a spot just behind the battery at some time. I think it was to give clearance for the Hy-Lo pump that operated the plow. I need to remove it to tighten up the lower fitting, which I believe is leaking.
Should I return it to its proper place on the engine, or is it ok where it is at. If I do move it back, where can I obtain the bracket and hoses for putting it back where it belongs? |

Can't really advise you on the location question, although i can't think of a reason why it would hurt to leave it.
Walcks has all the parts if you want to move it back. http://walcks4wd.com/engine/oil-filters-parts.html |
