This is some of the wiring harness, at headlight connection:

I also installed 2 fuse blocks under the dash. Because the ignition key had acc and ign settings I opted to utilize that function, and also keep the overall size of the block down by having 2 separate ones, plus, I love wiring & electronics!

It was time to take it into the sunlight to have a better look, I was getting close. Just a few finishing touches to make it ready for Vehicle Inspection,

Here's a mod I did to the air cleaner to avoid the oil bath but retain the original look.  I had to cut out the inner piece with a cutting wheel, and figured out that the air filter from a '96 Dodge Stratos fit nicely inside!

Now to accessorize the trunk! My grandfathers toolbox I've had since he passed.  I filled it with some period correct tools just in case of breakdown, but likely that wont happen, right?!

The day finally arrived for inspection.  A vehicle this old is not something most shops will do these days here.  I finally found one that would do it and a few hours later I had official Historic plates!

Thanks all for your comments! But without all the threads and information in this forum I would have never been able to do it! I am grateful to all that helped me through some difficult times during the build with detailed pictures and descriptions of how to do various repairs.
With plates on my beast, I made my self imposed deadline this past June, so I would be able to take part in the local Classic truck and car show in early July.  Parked next to a '62 Vette, I never thought anyone would even stop to look at an old jeep. Man was I wrong! I had crowds surrounding her and they virtually overlooked my Vette neighbour!  Here's a shot from the show:

It's for sure a good felling when you go to a car show and have all the lookers. We have a 53 3B and a 49 willys jeepster and your never long without questions and comments. It makes all the hours you put in worth it! Thumbs Up

I have seen that very thing at a car show with a friend and his 42MB , a huge crowd around his jeep asking questions , wanting pictures of them sitting in the jeep and totally ignoring the high end hotrods around us.

Yeah, I drive up a trail in my 3B and I get more comments about it than anybody else in the group from people on the side of the road. Perhaps I'm just dreaming but I get a lot of waves from young women.

It's not all just a dream. We were doing a trail and an old friend paced me on the bypass roads on his Honda 4X4. We talked at the summit. He loved the way my Jeep worked and I suppose the driver may have played a part. He has 2 Jeeps.
