This is my '47 some modifications . Tires are the latest , little honey stained it for me, that's right, gray wood stain blended with floor sealer. grill and bumper painted with high heat barbeque paint rolled on . I've got another complete body to swap out once I get a chance to cut and weld . for now I'l be running around town as it is. Edited by 47goDevil - 14 Mar. 2009 at 9:13am |

I picked this up in so.cal. high desert , i'm the second owner . it sat for twenty five years. WWII vet died, I picked it up, now it's the ghost ride. minimal leaks after changing fluids. new plugs. no smoke . typical issues, but I'm on my way. Edited by 47goDevil - 14 Mar. 2009 at 9:15am |

yea ! the desert preserves everything steel , nothing fake decays .
what you cant see is the thick bondo on the hood and cowl . wood sealer does wonders to rust. I was getting stink eye but with the gray stain , now I'm turning heads . Edited by 47goDevil - 28 Feb. 2009 at 4:17am |

Great looking jeep. What size tires and rims do you have on it in the last photo (the one with the black rims)?
Thanks

Remington Mud Brute 30"9.50 15"
these have a 7.5" foot tread . not too wide . they fit nice on an 8"wide rim.
