Hello guys, My father has this 1952 3A, and we found the original color under the paint layers, it's both here in the windshield, and behind the firewall tag:
I believe it is Hatteras green, but i could not find a picture of a Willys, Jeep or otherwise, in this color, and i know some color were exclusive to Aeros and Wagons, so thats why i ask, is it a original 3A color? and if so, what color should the wheels be to match it?

Thanks in advance.

The two green colors available for a 1952 CJ3A were Emerald Green and Hampshire Green.  According to Bob Westerman's book, in 1952, the wheel colors changed from "complimentary" colors to "the same as body color."

Thanks, if that's so, it isn't a green Jeep... I've also found a similar 51 color, did some of them carry over to 52?

It's hard to tell which layer of paint is the first layer in your photo.  Willys CJ3As had two gray colors available during 1951-52.

Picket Gray and Potomac Gray. It's always hard to compare real colors to internet colors, but the Potomac Grey always seemed to have a slight green tint to it...when I view it from a computer.

Could it be the gray I see in your photo?

Well i initially thought it was hatteras green, because it looked somewhat lighter and had a more yellowish hue than the grays i knew.
I took the picture into MS paint, and selected the color, it is indeed gray! i guess the surrounding colors messed with my perception.
Here it is, the same picture, but with the bottom layer pointed at,and the color, which i selected from 3 different places in the picture
