Anyone that spends $54 grand on a Jeep restoration has more money than sense . . . in my humble opinion, the only Jeeps that are worth that much coin are the early prototype models.

Just my 2 cents.

Real nice, but incorrect "restoration".

I always wonder why sellers asking for exorbitant prices won't post large photos.Confused

Maybe my computer is off, but isn't normandy blue closer to the Air Force Blue used in the 70's and earlier? I am seeing more of a royal blue that looks too bright. Sure is a pretty jeep, wouldn't mind it in the garage.

But 54K???? WOW!

I can put ten grand into any Flattie and have just as good of a Jeep. And yes, that was originally a column-shift variant. My guess would be that the jeep was converted to Floor shift at some point, and, being the more common configuration they assumed it was that originally when they started the "restoration"; pretty shoddy to be half a hundred Gs worth of Flatfender.

I'm no restoration expert, by any means. However, if one is to put 54,000 into a CJ2A restoration, it should be FACTORY CORRECT. Just at a quick glance I noticed several things which deviated from such. So yes, I am qualified.

I don't really think I'd go that far either......it's far from "shoddy" but waaaaay overpriced. (I could see the Buy it Now but that's about it)
