I don't think you will ever find any 7.00 M+S tires.
7.00 x 16" will only be available in military tread, trailer tread or tractor chevrons.

IMHO If this is for a jeep then 10 ply is certainly overkill.
I bought a set of these in tubeless , but only because I could not get them in 6 ply.

I got 700x15 extra traction Power King tires from the local Chevy dealer.  The parts man had pictures in his catalog and ordered them.  They are a D rating and are stiff.  I counter that by running 30#s on pavement and 15#s off pavement.  They flat spot over night but smooth out in a mile or so.  When they need replacement I will put on a radial of similar size.

I run a 215/85R16 radial m&s that is within 1/2 inch size wise of my 7.00/16 NDT's.  Certainly not as hard as a 10 ply, but great traction and a nice ride on the pavement.

I also had the D503 in mind.  Simple tire recently had a sale for $103 per tire with free shipping.  They did send the wrong ones at first but quickly sent the correct ones.

Comparison of new 7.00x16 (on the jeep with weight) to pretty worn 6.00x16 (no weight)

After first run.  So much better than the 30-40 yr old tires.  No clearance issues with turning and according to tape measure, shouldn't have any suspension clearance issues.
