Hi All,

I’ve been reading a lot about CJ2a brake conversions. I’m not a purist but I want to give the 9” set one more college try.

My backing plates are pretty beat up. So I am looking to pick up a set of backing plates in halfway okay condition.

So if you made the jump to better brakes and have the old 9” backers backers around I’d be interested in knowing what you may want for them.

Drums and hubs are not as important but I have some interest there too.

If I am successful in making the 9” work as well as I hear they can I’ll write up my findings in  full post.

Have a great night.

Send a pm if you wish to talk.

Take Care

Todd

I've got what you need. But shipping could get pricey. Ever get down to Mass?

I highly suggest you go to the late type (post 1952) 9" Bendix.
Much much easier to adjust.

I happen to have a full set that I'll sell for cheap.
I never really looked at them so figure on a full rebuild.
A pair of 2 including the drums will fit into a single large flat rate box.
I also have some OEM NOS front wheel cylinders for sale .... posted elsewhere.
Currently building my final F-134 powered 3B .
