Active Topics

Russ, I've just noticed an interesting anomaly concerning the 'Hot Topics' icon. After you taught me about the Active Topics button, normally I use that to catch up and read whatever new posts have been made. But here's a scenario....I click on Active Topics, see maybe 7 or 8 new posts in the Tech Section and 3 or 4 in the For Sale section.......I read about half the ones in Tech and none in the For Sale with the plan of checking back later......O.k. when I check back later, none of those that I didn't read are listed as Active.....I realize this is probably the way it's designed....but can it be changed so that they don't 'go away' until they are actually read or is that something to just live with?......Thanks
