Thoughts and prayers are out.

And if I could throw the intake from my CJ7 into the escalator along with those harps, I would!

I'm very happy to hear this! I had my fingers crossed and said some good things to the man upstairs for you! I think there will be another Jeeper in the future looking at that smile! John

All,
It would appear my son has turned the corner in a good way. I wanted to thank everyone for the prayers. You can tell the level of desperation of a man when he turns to strangers for prayers, uncertain if his own would be answered. I will post a good photo when we are home. He still looks a bit too rough for most people. He is starting to work Lego again and making demands like chocolate milk with 2 straws.

All,

We got home on Tuesday after almost two and a half weeks in the cardiac ICU.  My boy is doing well.  It was quite the ordeal.  God was definitely with us.   I know we are very fortunate, and was reminded tonight just how fortunate.  One of children who was also in the ICU with our son was an acquaintance of a family member, their newborn was not as fortunate and passed away yesterday.  I am overjoyed to have my son home, but not all kids get to come home.

Alas, I am writing here again.  It would appear that my son's valve repair is failing.  We will bring him in again for his valve to be replaced this time.  While it would be easy to be upset, angry or otherwise just plain pissed, I am focused on making sure I enjoy my family time before we have this done.  I honestly think that the prayers from you were the balance that made sure my boy came back to us so well...so if it isn't asking too much, please keep him in your prayers.  We will bring him in at the end of the month.
