WOW your transmission casting date on 10012 is the exact same date on my 10231. My assembly date is H-28-45. This is some great information. We can at least assume that they a few hundred cases already cast and they did them on 4-5-45. Now there almost no way to tell if mine is the original trans but so far I have no doubt that it is. Since I started doing all this research about old newspapers I have also been searching the back ground of mine. I have have mine since June 23 2007. The guy I got it from was G. Oliver. He got it back in August of 1997 From Sandy Pearce. Her dad acquired it in May of 1952 from his brother Omar Pearce who died in a car wreck. Right now I have a friend Patty at the DMV tracking it down from there. Would be nice to find out the info from brand new til now. Hey Todd can I add your 10021 to the database?? Let me know ok Thanks David |
