Talking with a M38 owner at the car show this morning I noticed Hetalia looked deeper. So I asked what it held he said 13 gallons. to wondering can an M38 tank fit under a 2A seat frame?

Hi Mark, If it helps, the body of my M38 tank is 7-3/4 inches tall, not counting the filter-pick up and the sending unit plates (guessing maybe adding another inch as I didn't remove my seat to measure). It also sits on 1/8-inch of anti-squeak webbing. So I'm guessing almost 9 inches above the floor level. I think the M38 seat legs are taller just for this reason (the extra 3 gallons). Would the M38's large mouth filler neck fit into a CJ-2A's hole? Are the tank drain holes in the same place? Good luck!

thanks Ron had not thought about the filler neck. The taller legs I kind of wondered about. Just an idea.
