Matt
You know I appreciate all you've done over the years for me and the page.
Gotta have a little fun along the way. With the c/s studs you included with my top (I'm expecting it any day now) I should have enough for my Jeeps. If someone else wants the two you are sending to Sam for me, go ahead and include them with their order.
Thanks again for your help and work. I'm going to love the BK2A and can hardly wait to try it on.
Allen

No No, Sam will send YOU the extra two it's already settled!
Your top should be arriving any day now, a bunch got delivered today.
This goes for you Allen and anyone else, If your top don't fit or for any reason your not happy PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I will do my best to fix the problem! If I can't fix it I will refund your money AND pay for the canvas you sent me. I'd rather it that way than anyone being unhappy.

The Bk2a arrived! Don't know what to say. It's simply perfect Matt. Barb loves it too.
The color goes well with the Luzon. We're more than happy. Thanks for a great top.
My brother says its a Bimini rather than a Bikini. Guess that has more class. I call it beautiful.
My only suggestion............Uh.....How bout making a bag to store it in?
Can't thank you enough Matt,
Barbara and Allen

Allen, normally when this type top is on a boat it is a bimini, name after the island in the Bahamas.......I think 'way back when' this type of top was used on vehicles the term just got kind of 'Bubbafied'.......any boat catalog will list the top or top parts as bimini.
Irony being what it is and all but regardless which one you choose, they were both named after islands. (as was the bathing suit)......so I guess you could just call it an 'island' top.
More useless bimini facts are found here:
P.S.
The top does look good.....nice color combo.

Thats about right then my brother sells boat accessories so he uses the nautical term.
Island top....hmmmmm.
Bill
Thats the Toast. We think it looks great. Poor Mule...She's not getting the attention she so desperately needs. I need to spend that "quality" time with each of them.

Lookin' good! Barb's got good taste, looks like it fits well too. I think I've got something for you to store it in. I'll send the extra studs and a surprise to you and you can send Sam his two studs.

What the hells taking you so long Sam? after all those nagging e-mails, all the pressure to hurry and finish I can't believe you didn't rip the box open like a kid on Christmas morning and start playing with your new toys! All the other kids did! How do you like the Toast top? I think the edging came out nice. I didn't have a binder when I made the Parchment top. I sent the extra C/S studs to Allen because I was sending him a special package anyway. Make sure he doesn't forget you.
I'll finish the last 3 after my wife and boys leave for Ireland on Tuesday!!!
Art and Dave (nightowl) your tops are on the way!
Howard yours is still on the cutting table.

HEY!!!! Don't be draggin' ME into this! I didn't see my name even _mentioned_ until YOU said it, Allen!
Methinks that he was referring to YOU and...maybe, Sam...<g> BTW...that DOES look good on Lefty...but on MY monitor, at least, that sure don't look like LUZON Red...More like Haaaavaaad... Edited by Jus*Jack - 26 July 2008 at 1:36am |

Jack, Jack, Jack, can't you see? Allen's jeep, it's gotta be Luzon red. That's cuz the poor jeep is loozon everything around it. It's loozon it's tires, it's loozon it's seats, it' even loozon the back half of a perfectly good top. All I can say is musta been one helluva storm!!

OK I have a plan
Hope to have it back together next week. Then I'll drive through the woods with an open jug of my wild plum wine. Then drinking while jostling around should spill enough to stain it a perfect plum hue. Voila Luzon......... Have to make sure I grab the plum and not the grape so Jack isn't adjusting his color pallet.
