Hey everybody, this is Sarah again. So I came up with a sticker/shirt design for the Black Hills run, and John approved it. So I can put it on a shirt, or do it as a sticker. The only catch is the entire thing has to be the same color. It’s the only way I could make it work on my computer.

Just a note, Lee makes the "official vehicle sticker". I think it's great that others want to contribute and I'd like to have a couple of shirts with this on it for Carol and i. Thanks Sarah and Tiny for doing this. Oilly

Looks good Sara.  T-shirt Sizes?  T-shirt Colors?  Pockets?  Additional lines in other colors or same color?  How big is this?

Sarah again....so change of plans.
I used the logo from the page for the Black Hills Run shirt logo but that Jeep outline can only be used by this page. That being said, I just need to come up with a differed Jeep to use for the shirt. I deleted the picture from my previous post, and I will work on a new shirt idea when I get home.
I'm really sorry, I didn't even think of it being an issue.
As far as the shirts and everything, I will start messaging people directly so figure out sizes and so forth.
And as far as colors go for the logo part i can pretty much get any color you want from Michaels.

Hi Sarah,   just my 2 cents...I saw that logo and it was nice, but you might want to come up with something where the lines are somewhat thicker.  Those thin lines in vinyl don't seem to have enough material width to get a good grip on the shirt.  They will pull up after washer and dryer action.  I know I saw some instructions somewhere that said to not use the dryer, but I just don't think that is realistic for a guy's T-shirt.

Hey so here is the new shirt idea, what do you guys think?
And you don’t have to get it in purple glitter, I was just making one for myself haha.

To all of you who commented that you wanted shirts, I will message you to make sure the new idea is still ok, and for sizes and colors.

I like it, but!, I'd move the 2018 to the hood of the Jeep and make it smaller to resemble hood numbers on a military Jeep, MHO, Lee

Lee,
I was thinking about doing that, but I have noticed that with the iron on vinyl if I use smaller lines or cut outs they don't stay on as well. That's why I did it on the back portion of the Jeep because I could make the 2018 bigger, and the dots in the 0 and the 8 will stay on better.

Sarah, What would it look like if you eliminated the words "black hills jeep run" and put "BHR" in the front part of the Jeep, like the 2018 is on the back end?

I'm just thinking out loud here.

BHR,  HBR, FCT, if non-familiar folks see it, they don't have a clue what it means. Fall Colors Tour, Black Hills Run, they get it better. The important one is HBR!!!!!! LOL

Just under 4 months away. Chop chop folks. The cold white grip of the North has me thinking warm friendly thoughts. But-------remember, there is no repair station other than your camp site, so make sure your Jeep won't let you down. Talk nice to it, check it's boxes, change it's oils, tune it up, check the reservoirs etc. Bring your tools and extra parts. We will be camping in earnest, so for your comfort, plan your gear. No fires and no charcoal grills! Gas is OK.

We are at 35 Jeeps. Some may drop, some may add, but it seems we are settled near that mark. When we go into town Wed.  for lunch, do as you please. There are no reservations, first come first served. Plan tables for 4. Lots to do and see. 3 whinerys------oops wineries are in town. Artist studios, and many tourist shops. I'll try and keep us together when we arrive, and we'll go to the 1880 train and make reservations for a group ride, which will dictate the rest of our plans and times. They are a busy tourist town, so please be polite and patient. I can't work miracles. ( not all the time).  If it's warm and dry, we'll be fine. Oilly

Looking forward to this, Oilly.  Is Hill City noted for any interesting histories?  Any "must see" stuff going on there?  We'll be driving the jeeps there, right?

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.
