This is one I haven’t seen. On a ‘47 with lift and PTO. 

I don’t understand what it would be used for. 

The pic flipped on me but should still serve its purpose

Grass shield prevents this... 

been there done that, both driveshafts looked the same. took 2hrs to cut it all off.  Dang honeysuckle vines.

That's a weird looking pumpkin. I bet you're talking about that rather than the grass shield remnants.

Thanks all for the information. 

I had not seen any thing on a grass shield. Never had an issue with a jeep but have using a 4 wheel drive John Deer with an open drive line to the front to bale hay with. Now that was a mess!!!
