i have a fuel leak coming from where the metering rod sghahaft comes out...i thought it was the fuel line inlet but the fuel is coming from where the cover goes over the spring and levers for the metering valve....any ideas ...is the bushing or shafts worn ....i thought maybe the bowl was stuck and let fuel spill but i dont think that is the problem

Check to see if the float /float valve is stuck open.
Are you running a stock fuel pump? |

There shouldn’t be any fuel up there, except for an occasional bit of splash. If there’s fuel leaking there the bowl is ’WAY over full.

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.
