Doesn’t surprise me our beloved Willys made the list. We all like to turn nuts and bolts on our Jeeps, or at least admire the mechanics.

The original Jeep is one of those machines that is satisfying in that deep, basic way of something that solves a problem really, really well. It’s crude and unashamedly mechanical and one of those rare cars that has grown past its very specific origins to become an icon.

Can you imagine even the most one-model-focused enthusiast ignoring an old Willys Jeep if they’re right next to one? I can’t.”

I would almost agree with #2 if it was a 123 (the 2 dr version) obviously I agree with #3 and I agree with #4. I wouldn't even slow down my walk if passing one of the others at a outdoor car show.

To many of the BMW's around here they are just in the last few years fading away. The Honda I got nothing for just not my thing.

And the Rabbit who would let that in anything but a Walmart parking lot.

I guess I may be partial to our American metal. When I think of "Gear Head" vehicles I think WILLYS (both CJ & 33-42-Americar), 32 Ford, 55-57 Chevys (Nomads are my fave), 55-57 T-birds, GTO, SS396, Roadrunners, Super Bee & of course Cudas. If I was going to go off shore I would think VW Bug & Austin Healey (Bug Eye Spite & 3000). The four on the list that are not our WILLYS JEEPS would not be my choice, however they are still cool!
I think true Gear Heads love most all of them! IMHO
