Here it is, 2021, January, and time to announce this year's Fall Color Tours (FCT)!! We beat the odds with our 2020 FCT by holding anevent with 110 people for a week, people from across America, and no one brought Covid-19 with them, or took it home. So we're going to do the Fall Color Tours again in September 2021 much like we did for 2020. So get ready to follow this guy once again into the beautiful Colorado Rockies for some spectacular Jeeping!
Photo credit to Dave Luber. So mark your calendars for the week of September 19-25. Get your vacation requests in. And plan to have a great time at the Thirsty Dirt Ranch. Nancy and I look forward to seeing many of our old Jeeping friends, and making new friends again this year. As we have in the past few years, we'll be running a pre-registration lottery to see who gets to join us. Our target is 50 Jeeps, and what ever number of people happens to come with the Jeeps. I will post up the registration form online in the next week, and put a link to it here in this thread. This year we will be accepting emailed forms as well as mailed hard-copy forms. All forms received before April 30th will be entered into the lottery. All forms received after April 30th will be added to the alternate list. On May 1st I will run a random number generator on the list of all registrations received, and listed in an Excel spreadsheet. The first 50 Jeeps chosen by the random number generator will go on the Primary list. All the remaining Jeeps will go on the Alternate list. In 2020 we offered Primary slots to 16 Jeeps off the Alternate list because Primary folks could not make it. In 2019 we offered 12 Alternates a slot to join us. So even if you're on the Alternate list, you may get asked to join us. So Let's plan to have a great time together enjoying what we all love to do - Jeeping with good friends in some beautiful mountains!! |

Registration Form Here:
Terry, Nancy's foot has healed up nicely. It's so good she's already been skiing on it.

Great news about Nancy's foot. Was very concerned as those things can be messy. But, she never stopped smiling!

Wow! Lots of folks are using the email option listed on the bottom of the registration form this year. And just like in the past, on Sunday I'll list the last name of everyone I received a form from during the prior week. I'm already collecting a good stack of forms. I guess that's a good thing. Folks want to be here for the FCT. And there's a high probability that the show will go on, even with Covid, because we've been able to adapt our format to adjust for Covid. So I think we'll be able to have a great time with a great bunch of Jeep lovers all together here in the Colorado mountains.

Re-read Mike's first post carefully. He explains how many jeeps are to be accepted for the event and how they are picked. |

Thanks. I read it once but I guess I was excited to finally get the form. I totally forgot the number of Jeeps (50). I have a feeling he might up it just because of the number of people feeling out the forms. Lets hope so.
