"Mike -
When does next years's lottery sign up begin?"

It begins during the first week of January.  I will announce the event here on the CJ2Apage, and on Facebook.  I will post a link to the registration form in the announcement.  Each year the form is a little bit different than the year before, so be sure to use the form in the announcement, not the leftover form from last year.  The tentative dates are September 17-23, 2023.  Before I confirm those dates I have to consult my astrological seer, my voodoo witchdoctor, my tarot cards, my ouija board, my mystic dice, and my spiritual shaman.  Well, maybe not the shaman.  He put us a week early for the best colors this year.

If you miss the announcement in the first week of January, that's OK.  The lottery registration runs for 4 months until the end of April.  But please don't wait until April 28th to send it in.  Every year I get someone who sends in their registration about May 3rd.  Sorry, but the lottery selection is run on May 1st each year.  I hope this answered your question, and maybe just a little bit more.

Looking forward to it. My GPW is all done and ready to go.

Ricco, did you get a good collection of photos to use in the calendar this year?  I don't remember hearing from too many folks that they sent you photos, so I'm hoping that you got enough to do a good selection without any repeats.

54willysjeep, thanks for the reminder!  I've got to get my editing done on the new registration form and get it uploaded.  I'll put together my FCT announcement and publish it next week for 2023.

I'm thinking that I need to publish a document that I'm calling "Fall Color Tour Information, Guidelines, and Recommendations"  This will have the location for TDR, general information about rides, typical weather, maintenance and fuel recommendations, references to find local hotels or B&B's, and other trivia that is useful for someone attending the FCT.

yes Mike, including some of yours.  I can't think of obvious repeats unless you count the 2010 photos I spread around thru the 2022 calendar!  Big smile

Thanks to all who allow me to use photos, and to those I pick up in the thread, they all help to make the product better each year!

I would agree!  I need to order a catalog.

All credit to Brad for taking a good picture.

I guess I didn’t buy enough from them this year. I haven’t seen a new catalog yet.

Guys, there will be no living with Kate now.  She's a cover girl.  On the other hand, Brad took a great action shot of Matilda (the Jeep) splashing through a deep puddle, or maybe a stream.

Lee, it might mean we have to start paying her to make appearances.  Who knows, she may start her own line of Jeep clothes.  Stuff like the Willys boudoir bandanas, or Krazy Kate's Brake Stompin' Boots!  And then she'll come up with a line of cologne, like Eau d' 2A Exhaust, or Essence of Antifreeze.  Maybe Channel #3A.

Yup, if this goes to her head I may have to find a new Barrista for our morning coffee.............Cry

For those who have not seen it yet, here is the cover for the 2023 Kaiser Willys catalog.  Those of you who have been to FCT will recognize Kate's Jeep, Waltzing Matilda, if not Kate.  Our cousin, Gisele Hall is riding with Kate in this photo.  She loves Jeeping too, but doesn't have a Jeep.  Credit goes to Brad Reighard for an excellent action photo.  They selected his out of about 225 photos.

I always thought that Katie's avatar photo was one of the best ever.  Whoever took that pic seems to know what they're doing!  That one should make the cover of something.
