Restoration trivia!  Found this in some recently acquired service bulletins, that I had not heard of before.

Anyone ever found one of these?  Would be interesting to know if they used the 641087 or 638632 block casting. (click to enlarge):

Hmmm, I wonder if any of these engines were pulled during a restoration in order to install the "correct" engine? How would anyone know which ones were originally a chain drive. Just when things seem to clear up, it only gets murky again. Fun stuff though. Good find Sean

My 2A is a chain drive engine, MB serial number. Would you all like pictures/casting numbers?
