If I recall, this topic came up last year some time.  Seems the retainers were very difficult to locate.  I think someone actually made a limited number of them.  Anyone (or everyone) here have a better memory than I do?

I just found this on walcks.

And this on kaiser-willys.com.

dsc,
I don't think you will find them anywhere - unless someone decides to sit down and make them, or Rommel of MDJuan decides to offer them as a repair item.  They are on the aftermarket rear seat.

The quickest and easiest is to take the drawing into a machine shop and they'll make you a pair.

Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to make.  Some round stock or even rebar, a grinder and a welder.  Just taking the time to do it is probably the hardest part.  LOL.

I just bought my CJ2A two days ago.  It has the rear seat.  I haven't looked close at the seat, but I'll check tonight and get a photo.

It looks like I won't be as much help as I thought. My back seat seems to have a home made wooden mount. But I see the floor mount location.
1948 CJ2A - It goes nowhere fast, but anywhere slow.
