So I am eating dinner about 45 minutes ago and my girlfriend tells me a story of seeing a rusty old jeep like mine at Fred Meyers. The one thing she did remember was it said "jeep" where mine says "Willys"  I ask her if she is sure, that it looked like my CJ2A and had "jeep" stamped. She says yes. Anyone one here know about this?

Fred Coldwell will want to know about this! If it's truly a "Jeep"-stamped body, it's one of the preproduction CJ-2s, of which Fred will tell you only maybe 20 were made and only 3 (I think, possibly 4) survive!

Well,
That would have gone right past me. I have found in this last year since I have been a member on this site, that I know very little about the technicalities of these fun machines. :) where is that camera ! |
