After many related messages for pictures and information, I am humbled to present to you a video of a CJ2A we retrieved this past Saturday in upper central Michigan. It is a 2-owner 1945 CJ2A, with complete documentation from when it was sold new to the first owner, in 1953. Yes, 1953. The back story at a later date. This is CJ2A #10033, with original engine #10034 and 24K original miles. Only the transmission and transfercase are not original at this time. All dated and numbered history have been recorded. We are pleased to become the caretakers of such an original condition survivor. Enjoy the video..... Lowenuf

Dennis, when I share the back story, everyone will better understand why the cane shift and large intermediate shaft transfercase will be re-installed instead of the column shift components...
