Good evening. Does anyone know what size and threads per inch the nut needs to be to retain the lower portion of the rear shocks on a Cj2a? The new plates I ordered came without them. A few people have told me theirs just use cotter pins and a washer, but mine would require a nut and washer.
Any info would be helpful. Thanks- 707

Cj2A plates just used washers and a cotter pin. The plates you ordered are later style. I don't have a late model parts list, but you can take one of the plates to a hardware store and find nuts that will fit.

If you can't get there in a Jeep you don't need to be there!
