In Low's "descending" video, if you look really close at the horizon you can see Pike's Peak in the distance. That's about 100 miles away from the top of Mt. Princeton. That's almost 2 degrees of curvature on the surface of the earth. That's a lot of thin air to look through. And as you look at the valley below, the elevation difference is 4,000 feet vertical. Almost a mile down to go. That's more elevation change than in many midwestern states.

Hi everyone! I wanted to let ya'll know I'm working on the calendars and will try to start shipping sometime next week. If you have some picture(s) you would like to see somewhere on the calendar...send them to: aricktsites@gmail.com If anyone would like to purchase one, they will once again be 25 for one, and 35 for two. I'd like to get a headcount fairly quickly so I can print the right number. PayPal or check is fine. arickt@juno.com for PP, or: Arick T Sites 1229 E 125th St. Olathe, KS 66061.Chime in here if you want one, or, send me a PM to let me know you're "in."

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.

Hey Arick, I'd take one of these bad boys. Will mail check tomorrow with my address for shipping and whatnot. Thanks a lot for putting this together! What is it about a flatfender that just makes me want to look at it all day long???
-Tom edit: make that 2 calendars, thanks. Edited by aboyandhisdog - 01 Dec. 2017 at 2:26am |

Ricco,
Hopefully you got the group of photos I sent you on 5 November. Let me know if there are any quality issues with those photos. Also, I have more so if you can give me an idea of the themes you are looking for, I can go back through the group and do some more selects. Examples of what I have beyond what I sent: Just fall color scenery - no jeeps jeeps with fall color scenery military jeeps only lunch breaks on the trail jeeps lined up people posing next to their jeeps the morning meeting with Mike I might have some folks working on their jeeps too but I need to check I have a couple night sky photos from the ranch, but I think they could be better. Let me know if your are looking for any other themes to round out what you already have. BTW, I'm headed to the Jeep Caravan for Kids this morning - Toys for Tots - event, so I might not see your response until about 1pm MT. Regards, Dave Edited by dluber - 02 Dec. 2017 at 3:28pm |
