Hey gang,
Time for a jeep fix.  I need to talk jeep with my favorite jeep friends.  Would Jan.12 at 10am work for a bbq at my shop in Erie? I would drag my WC52  weapons carrier into the shop and see if we can get her started.  If there is lots of snow, we can fire up the weasel and joy ride around the hood.
I'll grill some burgers.  We can have a beer or two.
What do you think?  Game?

Lew,

I wish I could make it, but that's a long drive from Maryland. Smile  I hope you get a great turn out.

Thanks Dave, heck, start today and you might make It!

I am hoping BW can make It and give us the dates for his Northern Colorado Mountain Run.   I had to miss it last year.
We can tell tall tales from previous adventures, pop the hood on a jeep or two.  I have a 1945 WC52 weapons carrier that we can try to start.  If thwre is a lot of snow on the ground we can drive the weasel around.

Lew, I'll plan on being there. As for the NCMR, well, we'll talk about that..........    BW

Lew, for us "up north" guys, is E. County Line rd. a reasonable route for an old FF from 56?  If it is crazy traffic, I'd probably find another route, but it looks like a pretty clear shot south to your shop.

county line works fine on Saturdays.  Most folks are at 45mph in the open stretches.

Lou:

I've penciled in January 12th for burgers 'n grease at your hoppin' shop. Is your 1945 WC-52 12 volts from the factory?  Does it have a cast or welded-flat-stock spare tire bracket? Looking forward to seeing my jeeping buddies early next year!

Fred, we would love to see Ya!   The WC is 12v from what I can tell.  She is missing the spare tire rack.  Bummer.  I think the cross member for it is missing too.  I am just learning about it.
See ya there!

Lew,  I'm bringing a quart of orzo salad and some barley pops.  If you need me to show up early to help set up, just say the word.  Happy to help you out!

Lew:

Could you please post the address of your shop on this thread so I can look it up on Google maps. I didn't quite catch the name of your street in your video.  Thanks.

UPDATE:  OK, nevermind.  I figured it out as 1109 Telleen Ave., Erie, CO.

That is correct Fred.
1109 Telleen Ave in Erie.
Telleen runs west off of the Boulder/Weld county line.  The new Erie police station is on the SW corner of the intersection.  Mine is the 3rd building on the north side of Telleen.   There is a banner above the fence that says EgaragE.  That is Eric's small engine business.  So if you need a mower or chain saw repaired, he is great and cheap! The lot has a bunch of Toyota MR2 cars in it.
See ya!

Thank you, Lew and Frankie, for putting this wonderful day together.  It was great to see many friends, old and new, and especially a few I have not seen in decades.  Yesterday recharged my "jeep" batteries enough to power me through the remaining winter months.   Wink
