Hopefully I will be picking this up this week.  Not much info out there about these so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it!  It has a data plate, I will get a pic when I pick it up.  It reads Converto Manufacturing Co.  Model TC.  There is a serial number but I forget what it is.

Yeah, throw some pics up when you can.  I haven't found much info on this trailer.  I will probably be modding mine since there doesn't seem to be much of a collector or restoration group for these. I'd like to see others.  I'm going to pick mine up tomorrow morning.

That's a nice one.  Did I see, on another website, that this one has a tailgate on both front and rear?

I tried to pick mine up today but couldn't fit it on the trailer I had.  I think I am going to rent a car dolly on Monday and try with that.  Once I get it home I will snap some pics.

I owned a Converto trailer at one time. When $$ got tight after being laid off 3+years ago, I sold it to a jeep friend. He still owns it. As life would have it, I got a job the following week. DARN- I could have kept it. lol If I can find pictures, will post for reference.
The reason I got it in the first place was that Converto was made outside my hometown in Cambridge City, Indiana. My mom's neighbor owned Converto. Before I sold mine, I showed it to him- he was very well pleased. He informed me that there was a fire back in the 40's-50's that destroyed alot of business along with prints and literature.
Although they still field calls from people wanting old parts or information, none is to be had.

Was it the same Converto Company in Cambridge City that also made the dump construction/engineers trailer?

Thanks CJBilly; Got the Bantam and setting it up for camping and road trips. Would like to find the engineers dump trailer for work around the farm. I see you are from In. you should join up with us for our little get-togethers. Should have a fall convoy/ride from Atterbury area through Brown County via Back Roads, perhaps some chow/shopping time in Nashville.
