I've got a VEC column shift SN26262 its unbeleivable complete and rust free, however had a 3A windshield on it. currently going through a full frame off rotissery restoration. I want to be sure i have the right wipers on this thing. I got an early 2a/ MB windshield frame with manual dual wipers. it was yellow paint over black over blue so this thing was less than stock original. can anyone tell me if the manual wipers are correct for that time frame? what should I have?

According to the 1949 parts manual I have all cj2a had a vacuum wiper on the drivers side and manual on the passenger side.

Your serial number should be easy to remember, even if you wrote it down backwards. 😄
