My D18 slips out of low-range. It doesn’t pop or bang it just slips out of gear. Any thoughts would be appreciated

The one in my CJ2A does the same thing, whether in low or high range going down hill. It needs a rebuild.

I fought with this and ended up switching the stiff shifter boot with one from Walcks and adding the interlock pill back in with new detent springs. That seems to have solved the issue.
