I'm reposting this from the tech messages (ya, just learning the ropes on the new forum).

I am having a hard time finding the bolts and lock straps for Dana 25 and 41 axles.  Major Willys suppliers don't seem to have these.  Anyone have any sources ... or substitutes?

Are you looking for the straps and bolts to attach driveshaft u-joint to axle yoke?  If so, I believe ubolts were used.  I may have them.  Let me know if this is what you are looking for and I will check.

One of my parts 3a's has the bolts and straps instead of the U-bolts. If you can't find them anywhere else I could probably take them off. Just let me know, my e-mail is listed.

It has been a while since I removed the driveshafts, so mine may have the straps and bolts.  I don't remember.  Even so, after thinking about this, I probably put them back on the yokes and the guy who bought the axles would have gotten them.

Sorry guys, I guess I should have been more specific.  I am looking for the bolts and lock straps to attach the ring gear to the differential assembly in Dana 25 & 41 axles.  The bolts are G8, 3/8-24, 1-1/8-in long, 5/16 unthreaded with a large (11/16) head.  I have been warned that these need to be replaced new otherwise they risk breaking due to high stress load.  The straps span two bolt heads.

Let me know if you have any leads on this.  Vernco stated that he also could not find these, so had to improvise.  I may need to do the same.

Thanks for your help!

I have great success with the following parts suppliers. Try Walcks, turner 4wd, krage motorsports, and 4wd hardware. I overhauled both my Dana 25 and 41. If worse comes to worse, you can drill the head of the bolts and lock wire them, same affect as the locking rings.
