Installing the throw out bearing stock dauntless clutch & stock bell housing (diaphragm type) AA adaptor & a T15 transmission. The stock throw out bearing is only left with 1/16 " clearance from the clutch fingers to the front of the bearing retainer. I have purchased an adjustable throw out bearing from Novak that when fully collapsed leaves a 1/4" clearance. Is this enough clearance? Can anyone tell me how much clearance is lost due to clutch wear over it's life?
Thanks for any help Harry |

So long as the release linkage remains functional then 1/16" clearance between foreward face of release bearing and the clutch fingers is the normal minimum gap.
You stated from clutch cover fingers to bearing reatiner so I question what your saying. Wear of the driven disk over time is minimal. I have no reference to any specified finger position change change due to wear of the disk.
