Looking for some advice for my 47 cj2a.; I installed a Herm overdrive guy - front disc brake conversion Kit  with dual master cylinder.  Did this with tub off.  When I reinstalled the tub, front of tub about 1/32 inch away from master cylinder lid, no way for me to get it off to check fluid.  Called Herms, didn’t get any help or advice.  Has anyone here installed this kit, can you provide any insight please?
Thanks. Bob

I installed my own not Herm's, but I have to open the top of the master cylinder with a small pry bar type of item.  I really just use about a 4 inch long screw drive to flip the lid clamp off, I fill it with a bulb syringe some what like this.  Bulb Syringe

Bob,

I had what I think is the exact same problem years ago when I installed Herms dual master cylinder kit.

The fix was pretty easy.  The cover has a flared edge that hangs up on the frame rail.  All I did was put the cover in the vice and straighten the flare out so it will fit between the frame rail and the master cylinder reservoir.  Super simple fix.  I am hugely pleased with master cylinder kit and how it performs in the Jeep.  I ordered two additional kits from Herm to install in other CJ2a/3a projects.

Thank you.  I’ll get a bulb syringe at harbor freight. Thanks. Bob
