About 8 years ago there were a few great old home videos on youtube of a group of people running around in flatfenders in what I believe was Washington state somewhere. I think the videos were made in the 60's but could have been 50's. They were silent but an absolute blast to watch. I tried to search them out and can't find them anywhere. Just wondering if anyone else saw these and knows where to find them again. The link might have been posted on here originally, at any rate they were excellent historical jeep videos and everyone should get a chance to watch them. ~Jess

This is from Frazier on the Old Willys Forum. If you like silent movies this may be for you. There is more on it in the forum under "Video Clips" (6th entry down).
"Stumbled across this footage from the University of Utah's Digital Library.. No sound, but great shots of Southeastern Utah in 1949 throughout.. The CJ is featured pretty heavily from around the 27 minute mark until the end." https://collections.lib.utah.edu/details?id=1276261&facet_format_t="video/mp4"&q=san+juan+county+ Steve

I think what you are referring to was a jeep club in Yakima in the late 40's. There was an article about them in Life Magazine at the time. DonH
