Here's a place to put photos of actual useful work being done today with your jeep. These photos can always be used to help convince the significant other that hey,it's not a toy, it is a tool! Willys points will be awarded for significant jobs. More points for jobs not related to the actual jeep, like dragging the garden, bringing in hay for the horses, etc.. Dragging the parts jeep around the lawn may not actually give a positive point balance.
My latest.. draging stuff around the yard during the big cleanup. Sure is handy to have something nice and short to move the trailers with.

Here's a shot of my 1945 2A working at an airshow in May. I actually use it to lead aircraft in so the "dress-up" stuff is not just for fun. (Though it is!) I've also hauled stuff to the dump in it and pulled stumps out. Great fun and still working!

I've been using it to manuver my 12' trailer off the front bumper, or tow it from the rear.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmEqrFS5Zqs&feature=channel Suddenly when I get the trailer behind, the gears make sense. Really wish I had pictures from last weekend, pulled out big bunches of elm trees with it, and a few weeks before that I pulled my CJ5 frame out, just skidding it, from it's resting place. |

Living in the big city, the only work mine does is drag my a$$ around, but that's probably classified as heavy work in itself.

It's a culipacker, I had just sowed some oats on that little plot and used it to break up the clods and put the seed in a little deeper.
I've got some more working pics, but I think they are at home on the other computer. Still in Oklahoma for a few more days then back to Tn. I'll eventually get back home to Ky. Edited by Rob H. - 20 June 2009 at 2:05pm |

Ok, these aren´t the latest pics of my Willys-Viasa CJ3B jeep, as "she" is now at the workshop, checking again some parts, but at least they show that I employ the machine to do some kind of publicity for my business:

(We had a party this evening for one of our friends who, sadly, was a losing candidate for the AG nomination here. ) The specially labeled bottle is actually a commercial brand that one of my kids found. Had to throw that in the picture just for effect. http://www.cottrellbrewing.com Edited by samcj2a - 26 July 2009 at 4:24pm |
